With the construction of all foundations, drainage installations, service ducts and pipes, the heavy ground works and earth moving have been completed in the relatively drier months, and with the formation of the on-site access roads and parking areas to base course macadam, Brada have minimised the effect of the seasonal adverse weather, making the construction of the superstructures less challenging.
Proximity to Manchester Airport is also an important consideration in the construction of these buildings. Located close to the flight path to the airport, there have been constraints on how the site cranes, used to lift both steel sections and cladding materials, are operated and permits from the Civil Aviation Authority are required before any planned lifting works are undertaken.
Working with RIBA Architects Calderpeel and Structural Engineer Tier Consult, Brada have a team of professionals with a proven track record!
