‘Crafty Lion’, Church Street
Having completed the most challenging phases of this project, including the structure and roofing elements, internal fit out works are now moving on at pace. Most of the dwellings have now taken shape, with many plastered and second fixed ready for final finishing and decoration.
In tandem with these works, the remaining conservation elements of the scheme are about to be undertaken.
The most significant element requires the replacement of the terracotta Lions to the frontage of the building, an historic aspect of the facade.
This required the employment of expert sculptors, taking great care and time to mould, manufacture, glaze and fire these features, ready for installation.
Ashbrook Industrial Estate, Heald Green
Brada have made a bright start at their Ashbrook Industrial Estate development for PQ Ventures LLP, comprising of four new industrial units and office space.
Whilst we have not enjoyed the best of summers, Brada’s site team have completed the construction of the site infrastructure, included drainage and service installations. All foundations are now complete and the construction of the access roads and parking areas to a base course macadam means that the site will be able to cope when the weather does change as we head into the winter months.
The structural steel frames forming these new buildings are about to be installed, and these will significantly transform the look of the development. Cladding works will follow immediately thereafter and it is hoped that the completed buildings will be available ahead of time!
