Brada Secures Chartered Building Company Status

The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) is the world’s largest and most influential professional body for construction management and leadership, with professionalism – in both standards and ethics, integrity – striving for equity and fairness, excellence – in everything it does and respect as its core values.

The CIOB has the most diverse membership of any professional body in the built environment. Its members work in disciplines that cover the entire lifecycle of a built asset and even in the education and development of the next generation of professionals. Chartered members are construction professionals with a common commitment to achieve and maintain the highest possible standards. Chartered Member status, and the designations MCIOB and FCIOB, are recognised and respected internationally as the mark of true construction professionalism and both Directors of Brada Developments are Chartered members of the CIOB.

A natural next step was therefore to secure professional accreditation for our business, and we are exceptionally proud to announce that we have secured Chartered Building Company (CBC) status under the CIOB scheme.

As a Chartered Building Company with the CIOB Brada will be independently assessed and regularly audited, such that we are able to demonstrate that we:

• Are managed competently and professionally run
• Operate to high business and ethical standards
• Are committed to developing a fully qualified workforce
• Have a significant number of directors that are already Chartered, either with CIOB or other built environment organisations, such as the RICS for example

Having achieved full CIOB membership (MCIOB), both Directors have a duty to maintain rigorous standards in all their activities, and this will be reflected in the organisation’s operations as a whole. By following the CIOB Code of Professional Conduct and Rules, we are able to provide our clients, and their professional teams, with the confidence that we are committed to achieving the highest standards of professionalism and integrity in construction.
